Sculptures

Cheryl-Ann created this exhibition of 120 clay sculptures to act as a visual role model for natural beauty. Each life-size sculpture is made from a cast of a woman's torso from neck to bikini line. The models, ranging in age from 19-91 years, came from all walks of life. Each volunteered to participate to empower others and sometimes for their own healing.

Cheryl-Ann decorated sculptures to represent each woman's life journey or spirit, passing along their wisdom and courage to those who view the work.

Exhibits

Although Cheryl-Ann started the Project in August 2003, the sculptures were not completed until November 2005. The first exhibition took place in January 2006 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Eight more exhibitions have followed in four ensuing years, with the 10th being hosted by the CNE in Toronto at The EX!

Each exhibition has been blessed with a large number of visitors, excellent media coverage and phenomenal testimonials. Each host and sponsor has been delighted to witness the teaching and healing that the Project’s art and presentations evoke.

Speaking

As the Project shifted from concept to reality, Cheryl-Ann found herself speaking both informally and formally about the art and message behind her Beautiful Women Project. She has since earned her professional status as a public speaker with the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, and won awards and commendations for her work on self-acceptance and awareness.

Cheryl-Ann provides keynotes, workshops and training sessions, tailored to the needs of each client or group. Speaking with insight, honesty and humour, she encourages her audience to evaluate what shapes them, and offers a new perspective on self-image and its impact on self-confidence.
